Hyland's expansion includes a wall that showcases its history

For the first time, Hyland has put together a wall that shows the company's timeline and growth.
In 2013, Bill Priemer, became president and CEO of the content management software company. That’s when A.J. Hyland stepped down, after 20 years at the company, including 16 at the helm.
Hyland's brother, John Patrick "Packy" Hyland Jr., founded the company in 1991 and A. J. joined the company a couple of years later and was named president soon afterward. In 2001 A.J Hyland was named CEO when the company had about 100 employees.
At the time he stepped down, Hyland shared with a Plain Dealer reporter difficult times in the beginning when he said,  acquiring capital was "nonexistent" and at one point the company was forced to temporarily cut salaries for all 36 workers. "The level of teamwork and energy and excitement about our solutions and our customers is the same as it was in the mid-90s as it is in 2013,” he said at the time.

"Were excited about our expansion as it allows us to continue to grow our campus and support our No. 1 asset, our employees," said Rick Kirk, director of real estate. "Our physical environment fosters transparency and collaboration. Those two pillars are in our DNA. It’s how we get things done."
